 Junior Sailing Program

Learn to sail

Junior sailing consists of both sail training and racing, with the goal being a safe sailing and an enjoyable experience.

Junior training sessions for beginner, intermediate and more advanced sailors are held most Saturday mornings, during the season, at our Beauty Point Club House. These programs are conducted by experienced and qualified instructors and coaches, operating under the safety supervision of the club rescue boat fleet.

There are programs catering for first and second season sailors in Oppis, while larger juniors are catered for in our Pacer class sailing dinghies.

Those who are gaining competence and confidence are encouraged to enter the Saturday afternoon races.

The very junior are also catered for with an on-water experience in the Dolphin, under the charge of an experienced adult coach.
